Test summary
1. Lubricity:
Both FL003 and FL218 greases can make the mold operate normally without any bite on the mold, and they can maintain their original characteristics during the production period (no change in the color of the grease visually), and there is no deterioration. Therefore, it is determined that the lubricity meets production standards.
2. Durability:
The evaporation rates of the two greases are different, and the evaporation loss rate of FL218 is lower than that of FL003. Actual verification shows that FL218 is more durable than FL003 and can maintain normal operation during long-term production. It is currently observed that using FL218 for production does not require maintenance of molds on the production machine during at least 1 to 2 weeks of production. It can also reduce personnel maintenance hours and increase the effective working hours of technicians. Based on the overall wear and tear, FL218 is the company’s preferred lubricating grease.
3. Recommended usage
During off-machine maintenance, in order to ensure that the lubricating grease will not be affected by dirt and affect the quality of the oil, it is packed in a long tube, squeezed onto the lubricating part, and applied with a brush to avoid contamination of the grease by dirty utensils and hands. Do not directly contact the grease with your hands or any utensils. Engineering units must abide by the usage regulations to extend the service life of the grease.
